I think electronice devices should be allowedd to be used in school only if the reasons why they use/ bring  it are appropriate. The reasons why they use there devices should be clear if they decied to use/bring the devices to school. Here are the reasons why.

• Emergencies
• Calculator
• Agenda
• If you want to take pictures of notes
• As a clock
• assignments
• also some people like listening to music while doing there work, some people are more focused while listening to music

I don't think people should go on any social media apps/websites during class time but they should be able to go on those apps/websites during free time of recess. I think the rules that the teacher should impose on devices is that, we shouldnt be able to use them at all if she is giving us a lesson or if she is talking directly to us. But when we are at our tables doing our work we should be aloud to use them ONLY for the uses that i listed above. Maybe we should have to turn  our phone so the volume on the message notifyer on our phones should be turned up to the max so kathy could tell if we are texting/messaging someone.
